Xercia is a tertiary character in EtC starting with Shadows Jubilee. She is usually distracted by some bit of poetry like perhaps scenery some might call tragically beautiful. She is especially taken with the moon in the night sky.
A Shrouder, Xercia is the leader's left hand. She is the partner and rival of the conceited Anxalia.

Personality
Xercia is fairly withdrawn, only ever truly opening up to the group's leader. She is skilled with computers and research. Although she is purportedly a skilled fighter, she is never seen in combat leading some to believe she is a pacifist.
Background
Xercia was previously one of several Emissaries tasked with monitoring the Tartarus Gate to prevent the release of the Demon.
Relationships
Xercia has an unclear connection with Jyo. She is kept very close to the leader, much to Anxalia's annoyance, but doesn't seem to express much in the way of fondness for anyone in particular. She has dated Sjaxum at one time.

Xercia is about 5'7" having yellow eyes and purple cornrows. She has an earring with a yellow ribbon about the length of her arm. She wears a long tailed coat of which the open sleeves dangle past her wrists. The coat is strapped together at her breasts, it being nearly the only part keeping her "modest". Both hands are adorned with a series of black rings. She also wears hot pants and a pair of boots which raise up past her knees over thigh-high stockings. On her left leg her stocking is shorter but on the thigh is a wrap with undefined insignia. She also wears purple lipstick and eye shadow.

- Like Nexus, Xercia seems to suffer from amnesia.
- Xercia is one of several characters inspired by a Create-Your-Own-Organization-XIII thread at Eyes On Final Fantasy.
- The name Xercia is an amalgam of Xerxes, a Persian name meaning "hero" and Circe, from the Greek for "bird".
- It's possible her fascination with the moon derives of latent memories of Riene.
Creation
Xercia was thought up as a female version of Saïx from Kingdom Hearts 2. She was initially given a weapon similar to Xaldin's.
