Slaxeum is a Shrouder. While his identity is obscured behind a mask, he does seem to know a lot that most Shrouders do not and which only some other Shrouders are privy to such as details pertaining to their respective pasts.

Story

Slaxeum is a minor character in the EtC although his relationship to certain main characters makes him significant.

Slaxeum first appears in the sequel to Shadows Jubilee, though what role he plays is yet to be seen.

Personality

Slaxeum is full of interesting information, though retrieving this information in any cohesive, chronologically-relevant order seems to be an exercise in futility. Slaxeum seems to offer up what he knows most often at random when he's apparently bored. He tends to play the role of an unexpected sage whose advice is often employed by less experienced Shrouders such as Nexus and the young samurai, Antius, who seems to know Slaxeum's real identity. Aside from this, he most commonly plays the fool, making crude comments and generally behaving ignorant.

He hates Shadows and most Shrouders and even dreads his own existence. It's his philosophy that most everything attempted by anyone is a useless gesture. Fighting is the one thing that seems to enliven his spirit (if barely) although he also enjoys passing on his knowledge to anyone who will bother to listen. What he has to say is usually pretty important and/or useful.

Relationships

Slaxeum is more or less an uncle/father figure to many young Shrouders, wise yet embarrassing. He occasionally lets slip hints that he may have a child.

Appearance

Slaxeum is decked out in a black karate uniform and a red tengu mask. His gi is left open to expose wraps around his abs. He stands atop a pair of wood geta. His hair is long shaggy and peppered. Behind his mask are the signature yellow eyes of a Shrouder. His complexion is of a deep dark brown.

Allusions

Slaxeum once mentions a "little-known tavern called the Night Shade". This is a reference to the tavern in Os Fatalis.

Creation

Slaxeum originated as a Kingdom Hearts Nobody developed for Sam, a friend of the author.
